Lifetime database

The lifetime database is a tool dedicated to help better understand the degradation and lifetime of solar cells and learn predicting the lifetime of a device under real operational conditions based on accelerated tests. The tool offers the following services:

  • Possibility of exploring and conducting in depth analyses on the lifetime data reported in literature.
  • Uploading new lifetime data and comparing with the existing data (requires login credentials that can be obtained from the administrator).
  • Below is the diagram of the best lifetimes reported in the literature for organic photovoltaic technologies.

Figure 1: Diagram of the best OPV device lifetimes distributed according to the types of the test conditions. The arrows highlight the samples that are limited by the measurement duration rather than the sample lifetime. Table 1 outlines the references, PCE and the lifetime of each data point.
